Benefits

Unlock the full value of your portfolio

Unlock property income

Turn your unused rooftops, parking lots, and ground spaces into valuable income-generating assets. By installing a solar system, we can deliver value in the form of a simple lease payment, or as direct energy revenue.

Deliver new tenant benefits
Icon of two people

Solar systems frequently offer energy bill savings for on-site tenants. This cost reduction improves over time, and can assist property owners in attracting new tenants, retaining current ones, and potentially increasing rent.

Meet your ESG goals

With investors pushing for ESG progress, solar provides an opportunity to make tangible progress at no expense. We can help you reserve your budget for other initiatives by aligning your impact goals with your revenue targets.

Solar, simplified

Leverage Wunder's market knowledge, capabilities, and resources to meet your solar goals—whether it's a single project or a nationwide rollout. Our process is designed to be fast, informative, and efficient.

01

Assess

At no cost, we'll evaluate your full portfolio, analyze each property, review utility data, design systems, and model potential incentives to identify the best opportunities.

02

Plan

Together, we’ll create a detailed deployment plan that takes into account economic benefits, ESG goals, tenant considerations, and regulatory requirements.

03

Install

We’ll maximize your value by running a competitive RFP process to secure the best installation rate (a project's largest cost), and we'll manage installation from start to finish.

04

Manage

To ensure optimal performance, we provide complete management services for the life of each system, including 24/7 remote monitoring, operations, maintenance, and billing .

Callout that says "Maximize your value: 95%+ of total project cost is Installation Labor and System Hardware"

Competitive RFPs to secure market pricing

To ensure you capture the most value possible, we always run robust Request For Proposal (RFP) processes to secure multiple bids from pre-screened vendors, energy integrators, and hardware distributors. Where possible, we batch projects—sometimes across multiple clients—to unlock economies of scale and enable RFP participants to bid more aggressively.

Wunder’s Industry-first

Upside guarantee

With Wunder, you can move forward with confidence knowing that you're the beneficiary of any project value. Even after contracts are signed, if we uncover opportunities to improve project economics further—expected or unexpected—we’ll amend the agreements so you benefit.

While other solar providers may keep those benefits, we prioritize transparency and always put your interests first.

New Programs

If a new incentive or energy program becomes available that improves project economics, you benefit.

Installation Costs

While we leverage unrivaled market data to estimate costs, if RFP bids come in lower than expected, you benefit.

Hardware

If market aberrations and supply chain logistics lead to significant hardware cost compression, you benefit.

Higher Rates

If utility rates, tariffs, or other system revenue drivers are ultimately higher than expected, you benefit.

Behind-the-meter

Available nationwide, these solar systems generate power for on-site tenants exclusively. Tenants benefit by purchasing solar power at a discount to their utility rate. Wunder’s simple Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) is typically used, which aligns with the terms of the tenant’s underlying property lease.

Front-of-meter

Where available, these solar systems can provide energy to on-site tenants, the surrounding community, or even the utility. Common examples include community solar (in which energy is sold to surrounding businesses and residences) and feed-in-tariff programs (in which energy is sold directly to the utility).
